     To be honest I was already using Get Response. In fact, their system is the most complete system on the internet today.

     An autoresponder will assist in replying to your visitors. If you advertise to a newsletter and are for example offering a free e-book you can ask them to send a blank email to an autoresponder that you created and automatically a message will be sent to your prospective customer with a website address with the free e-book.

    Getting the response you want...

     With  Get Response you have everything spelled out for you. After you set up your mailing list or autoresponder you get the code for your webpage and all you need to do is cut and paste it onto your HTML.

     The way you should set this is up is by attracting subscribers to your mailing list/ezine/newsletter by offering a free e-book or any other means you can come up with.

     You can do this by directly advertising it on newsletters or even your website. But the most effective technique is to have a pop-up window that shows up when your visitor is clicking out of your website without buying.

     This window would be a special offer for the "unconvinced".

     This is a pretty effective technique because right now, you can follow up on your subscriber and have their permission to promote your products over and over again.

     The important follow-up...

    The trick is the follow up! This form of distributing your free e-book will allow you to follow up with your prospects with a sequential autoresponder.

      This means after they download your e-book you can send an email to them two or even five days later to follow up on how they are doing and hoping they enjoyed your e-book.

     On the tenth day you could have another message being sent out reminding them you're running an offer that is about to expire, or maybe mention the advantages of your system.

      I recommend having a follow-up message every five days. But this is only my approach to it. You could try other time intervals and see what works best. Anyway, GetResponse has some useful recommendations on this.

     This is just an example of the two first messages. You should send at least five to seven follow-up messages.

     A study was conducted a few years back and it showed that 80% of sales happen on the fifth message, so make sure you keep in touch with your prospect and tempt him/her with your amazing product.
