Turning the key isn't easy, but once the engine is running...

 An Obvious  Source of Funds

I should mention that although you can get your first sales without spending $1 on advertising you will get best results when you do invest money into advertising.

If you don't have money available, you can try looking around the house for something you don't need and then selling it on eBay. You will find that ebay can be a valuable source for advertising in itself.

The land of many auctions

You could even sell your e-Book on eBay and use it to attract visitors to your website.

eBbay has a few rules. You're not allowed to send your visitors to other sites from your auction page BUT you can invite them to view your "ABOUT ME" page and from there you can send your visitors to wherever you want to!

You can make quite a lot of money from eBay. In fact, there are people who have quit their jobs and are making a living by selling on eBay. You should give it a look.

Why, you ask? Well the latest figures indicate that ebay gets over two million page views per day. And about three thousand new users are added daily.

Here's a confession... My very first internet income came from eBay! I started by selling a CD that I compiled and as a result I made $1600 in 3 months without much effort. I think you can use eBay to fine tune your skills. The most work I've done for this was the writing/creation of the ad. The rest was easy.

There also are other auction sites you should keep an eye on. But, eBay is by far the biggest.

I must warn you, be careful when buying from eBay. Check the profile of the seller and make sure, the item your buying has been sold before with success.

I've lost $400 on a single purchase once. It turned out the seller didn't verify the source of his items with enough detail and he himself lost a considerable amount of money from it.

Make sure you can trust your seller before you do spend your money.

Using what I've just told you, make sure your buyers know enough about you and can trust you. This way you'll be increasing your sales.

If you are going to sell on eBay, find the best possible title for your item.

A title is very important, and on eBay it means everything.

Make sure whatever title you create you always use the maximum number of characters and have a good attractive description.

Remember to enhance your eBay advert with a good amount of pictures. Host them on your website! This will let you use as many pictures as you want without having to pay any extra fees.

Make a good detailed compelling description of the item you're selling.  Answer every possible question the buyer could ask, before he does it.

Create an About Me page to help your buyers find reasons to trust and buy from you.

If you use a bit of common sense, you'll get far with your auctions.
